Afforestation Initiative: Planting for the Future

One of our standout initiatives is the partnership Gift a Tree, wherein we pledge to plant a tree for every shift worked during the festival season. This not only serves as a symbolic gesture but has a direct positive impact on carbon sequestration. To date, 8,936 have been planted.

Net Zero Pledge

Raw has boldly committed to achieving a net-zero status by 2030, showcasing a forward-thinking and proactive approach to environmental sustainability.

Plastic-Free Festival

A major milestone in our sustainability journey has been the reduction of single-use plastics, by encouraging staff to bring their own reusable bottles or providing them. This not only reduces the immediate environmental impact but also sends a powerful message about the feasibility and desirability of plastic-free events.

Eco-Friendly Transport

Recognising the environmental impact of staff transportation, we take a proactive approach by prioritising local staff within a 25-mile radius. Additionally, our commitment to sustainability is reflected in the choice of vehicles used, all of which comply with Euro 6 standards, ensuring reduced emissions and optimal fuel efficiency.

Paper Reduction Strategies

Addressing the environmental cost of paper usage, Raw Training & Security has significantly reduced its paper consumption by implementing stringent paper use policies and opting for recycled paper, along with adopting digital reports and paperwork. This has resulted in a reduction in our ecological footprint and also a positive shift toward more sustainable event documentation practices.
